Brazilian Glossary: The Totems. This poster series encapsulates the essence of symbolic Portuguese words and phrases from my journey through Brazil in 2023. Each piece is complemented by hand-drawn illustrations, inspired by the small pocket stones I collected along the way. These stones, much like memories, carry their own energy and significance, and through this project, I aim to translate that experience into a digital format. The artwork serves as a totemic expression of my personal reflections, rather than a literal explanation or informative guide. Each symbol stands as a diary entry, capturing the fleeting moments and emotions of my travels.
